? Not eating

My cat has only been on insulin for one day and he is not eating a lot at all. Does anyone have any suggestion on what to do? My vet said I can't give him his shots and then he will have to be taken in

what food is he on? If it's wet, try warming it.

Its not a great permanent solution, but when I sprinkled some parmesan cheese on Gordy's food, he ate it.

(Usually Gordy hesitates to eat when he has a hairball trying to finish its "process".)

What about tuna? I've found that's a good gateway into getting my diabetic cat to eat when needed. When he won't even eat that, I know it's time to bring him in.
