Today's numbers just make me want to cry. But, other than those nasty pinks, both boys are feeling well, have a great appetite and act like nothing is wrong. I'll try to focus on that.
My thoughts go out to Wendy and Neko and I am sending lots of feel better vines.
Mandarin has had 4 different doses in 4 days so his numbers are just a little wonky. It was good to see he made it to a nice low yellow last night and is feeling good. It won't be long and think he'll be back to business on this dose. Walter, head on down buddy nice and easy today.
Sometimes I want to cry and other times I want to throw the insulin in the trash and step on the meter. Then I breath and say...he's eating and feeling good so that's what matters
Well nuts to those numbers
I'm sorry your boys decided to check out the super moon up close and personal by jumping on that trampoline...silly cats, bouncing won't let you jump on the moon.....
Hang in there, hoping they fly off that trampoline and head back to the shore soon..
Hey Christina, hopefully the depot will fill for Mandarin and he will get less wobbly and Walter will follow suit. It is so hard not to be effected by the numbers. Hope today is a better day number wise for the boys.
I think the meter is stuck! The only good thing is that I had enough time to run to Animal Control after work and pull one of the dogs that they needed help with. The dog's name is Maya and she came in weighing 103 pounds - her ideal weight should probably be about 50 or 60. The poor thing is so chubby that she can hardly walk... and she sure couldn't jump into my car. Luckily, she made it into a no kill rescue and I'm sure she will find a nice home. She's just about as nice as she could possibly be.
