Grey morning here and in prayers and vines for all , and extra bushels of healing for Wendy and Neko that Neko will soon be home and feeling better.

Sootie's amps 171. Eating right away so shot skinny 0.25u.

Am with azalea now, the morning sequence of eye drops. Was under bed but came out on own.

At local vetty right now with azalea for her weekly fluids (nope, she won't abide needle pricking at home) and follow-up consult re yesterday's day at the specialist.

Good evening...
First, healing vines and prayers for those in struggles tonight and crossing paws Wendy's Neko will be feeling better soon and back home.

Today was two visits to our vet, in morning with Azalea for fluids and discuss about yesterday's eye specialist exam etc. in late afternoon back again with Sootie for her 1-week recheck. Yep, would be easier to bring both together but each are happier when only kitty in car (they sure have trained me).

Let's start with the pretty good news:
Sootie's bg's so far today in the blues, even during vetty visit. And she'd gained 1/10# since last week. Recheck one week.
Was 186 at +9 at vetty. 156 at pmps. Did skinny 0.25u tonight.

Azalea and her eye: looks worse today. And definitely worse than late last week.
After yesterday's exam, it looked fully dilated. Gradually decreased during the day but was evident this morning. her cornea looks worse. Vet said concurred with specialist about removal being best option but worth a try the drops first. If gets worse at any time ...and if signs of rupture ..best to act quickly.
She doesn't feel good today, between the trip yesterday, recheck today and multitudes of drops....

Just about to give Azalea her 4th round of eye drops.
