My diabetic did well for a long time on Fancy Feast classics. Now he won't eat them any more. He's partial to beef. He's a picky eater, but loves the Fancy Feast sliced and grilled. Unfortunately, I see that they are high in carbs! Anyone have suggestions of a beef-flavored canned food that's lower in carbs? Thanks!

Almost any of the sliced or grilled varieties are going to be too high in carbs, pates are usually the lowest. Fancy Feast does make a beef pate, in their Classic line. There is also Wellness and Merrick, just to name a couple. I have recently switched to Pro Plan True Nature, because it's low in carbs and all my guys will eat it. I haven't tried the beef yet, though, it's a bit pricier than the other flavors.

Thanks! He WAS eating the FF beef pate. Then one day! You know how they are! I have ordered some wellness and will look for the other two you mention.
