Good morning, all. Wintry skies and crisp brrr air this morning.

Sootie graced us this morning with first  amps in awhile. Well, it was 194 (maybe  under most other circumstances being on the high side) but we're happy for a night AND a morning in blue numbers!

She's eating a bit now. I'll dose 0.25u in a few minutes. Holding at 0.25 this am, crossing paws for Sootie liking her numbers being in a color again that matches her collar.

Smooth sailing and a gentle vines day for all. Hugs and thanks from us all here, each and every day.
Sina, Sootie and family

Thanks Carla. Appy spurty but eating. And is BAR. The others are eating ok so it's not the food.
:bighug::bighug:Vines and :D:D:D for you and yours.

Heading out with Azalea to vet. Her injured eye is beginning to bleed in. Worried about rupture. Happened so fast.

Alas won't be here to do Sootie's mid morning bg's but hoping she understands. Did eat well this morning though.

Prayers and vines and ❤️

Home from vet with Azalea. Vet thinks that eye is reforming blood vessels to feed the eye. He thinks this is both good and not so good, because if blood vessels 'overtake' within the eye, it can impede the part of the healing process that he was hoping would help to clear the cloudiness. Also sees either signs of cataract or blockage near the lens. So is suggesting stop the current eye drops and replace with a steroid eye drop in hopes that this will slow down the speed of blood vessel development. I'm likely not articulating this well at all. On the one hand the presence of blood vessels means eye is trying to heal. On the other hand, too much too fast becomes detrimental to healing. Another dance...this one in hopes to save Azalea's eye. I bring Azalea in again on Friday and we decide then what next..:(

Just did Sootie's +5.5 closer to +6 bg: 176. At least it's blue.
Not sure if she'd eaten more after I left with Azalea. But she did just each a few tsps of Weruva salmon. Will be home rest of the day so will recheck in a few hours.

Rain started while on way home from vet. Wintry overcast, sorry to see leaves falling so quickly.

I hope the steroid drops slow things down so her eye can heal. Sending prayers. :bighug::bighug::bighug:
Hope so too. I took a nap with azalea this afternoon, napped beyond a mid-afternoon bg with Sootie (I'm sure she didn't mind missing an ear prick).

Sootie's +11 (at 6:44pm) was 209. Hungry at first, then the walk away routine. Pondering whether to shoot a little early tonight (if she eats more soon). Thinking to stay with 0.25u tonight.
