Good morning all,
This bean little less feverish than early this morning. Hoping sunrise in your realms less overcast than here.

Sootie's amps 272.:( Being better than the morning pinks of late.
Did the 0.1u am shot, crossing paws not a fur shot. Will retest in awhile. Appy a little improved, 2-3 tsps vs 1-2. Maybe was the touch of Ff Classic in there.

Here's to greens and blues and vines all around

Glad her appetite is getting better:bighug: hoping you have your bug on the run..it's hard to get ahead of them with the schedule this Sugar dance keeps us on!
Hang in there, get better, Sootie: your mission is to work that juice!

Sootie's +5 (1:17pm)@162

Prayers and hugs for Jane and her Boo. I know that Bo's voice will be among the chorus of the universe welcoming Boo. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hi Sina

I'm glad to see your little girl coming down into blue. Because she's getting these nadirs below 200, I'd give her a little more time at this dose but I think it's likely she will need a bit more insulin. We can just watch for a few more cycles and see.

I hope you feel much better today and am sorry you've been ill.

Hope you keep feeling better and glad that Sootie's appy is better.

Thank you both. I'll be retesting Sootie in a little while. Crossing paws for blues here and all well in LL.❤️Sina

Good evening all.
Sootie's pmps(7:44pmET)@213. Eating a little. I plan to do 0.1u pm shot ca8-8:15. She's dibbling with nibbling right now.
Healing vines to all and our hearts and tears also with those whose beloveds today are on the journey.

Update: Sootie began to make headway with supper choice #2; I availed of the happy appy moments to pm shoot. Crossing paws!

Hi Sina,
Sending some get-well vines for you and some eat-yer-fuds vines for Sootie. Hope you feel better tomorrow.
Thank you @Ella & Rusty & Stu(GA)
Healing vines are working! Good news is that Sootie is now eating supper offering #2. Woo hoo!
Two more kitties to feed then me to zzzz for awhile. Still such a void: one less meal dish to prepare and kitty to sup with since Bo passed. But i feel some comfort in knowing that he carries our love with him always. ❤️

198@Pm+7 (3:35am) + a kon tiki snack. Glad to see blue and I think Sootie is suggesting I dust off my copy of Thor Heyerdahl's book...

Blue looks good on you, Sootie. You need to wear more of it! Nice work eating your supper! That makes Mama so happy. Aunties, too!

I know what you mean. When I lost each of my babies this past year, it was a sad adjustment to make. When the last one went, my whole world was altered. I still find myself looking at the clock and thinking: "Oh, I have to test..." and then I remember. :(

Sina, I hope you are feeling better.

Thank you Tricia
I'm sure Sootie is feeling all the healing :bighug:and ❤️ of this amazing village of Aunties. I sure do and am grateful beyond measure.

Yes, every moment, every routine, every rythym, every memory and tactile touch is with and within us always.

❤️❤️ To you in the passing of your kitties, all within the past year. It's hard enough when one becomes Spirit, Immeasurably more so when we lose more than one so close together. Devastating for you. What happened?
Hugs and hearts
Sina

What happened?
All four of my kitties were diagnosed with cancer in 2014.

I lost Minka, my beautiful Siberian, in January, one month short of her 17th birthday. She beat renal lymphoma, but lung cancer took her.

Nine days later, my sweet little Abyssinian, Sasha, crossed from complications from radiation therapy. She had an injection site sarcoma which cost her her right front leg. She was 15.

In April, Cinco, the stray that adopted us in 2010 and taught us about FD, lost his third bout with lymphoma. We think he was about 13.

Finally, in September, Harvey (my avatar), my feisty Abyssinian, succumbed to CKD. He also had FD (due to steroids) and intestinal lymphoma. He had just turned 17 the month before.

So I understand the pain of one less dish, one less warm, purry body to snuggle with. I know that the pain doesn't just go away, but the good news is that the sharpness of it fades and the happy memories make it easier to bear. :bighug:

Tricia, greatest of sadness for the avalanches of loss for you and your kitties. It's hard enough when one. In the month before Sootie was diagnosed, her sister Guernsey passed away suddenly (cardiac post thyroidectomy recovery) and then a month later senior kitty Scoops, who had been with us for about a year and had stomach tumor when she joined our family. Within a few months, the mass disappeared. but a few months later, symptoms returned and she was Dx'd with advanced fast speeding abdominal cancer (anti jinx anti jinx anti jinx for all).

So true that the pain never leaves. But also true and with time, the deep sorrows soften with the glimmers, the ember-like glows of joyful memories and the shared love that transcends all earthly planes of being.

as in all things, We continue to put one foot or one paw in front of the other in the healing and, like Bo, keep looking forward even when that looking forward leads us to Spirit and the bells on the Bridge that Les so beautifully envisions.

Love hugs and all thanks, Tricia,
Sina
