Changing from ProZinc U40 to PZI u100

Bo kitty is currently using prozinc u-40
5 units using u-40 syringes
I was gifted 2 unopened bottles of PZI u100 I have (u 100 Syringes ) how many units should I give him?

So you were giving 5 units of U40 insulin with U40 syringes. Now you have U100 insulin with U100 syringes. Is that right?

If so, you could give 5 units. But since you are starting a new vial, you might give a little less.

BTW, that is a lot of insulin. If you ever want someone to look at his levels, just post them.

Thanks so much I was making more difficult then it needed to be!
My Bo Kitty has quite a history. He fails curves every time. For about a year I was soley thinking it was due the rescues vet insisting on using Vetslin. I have recently figured out stress is causing the failure at least partly. I can get an accurate first reading but then his number jumps to 300 and stays there for the rest of the curve I have tried regularly for 1 1/2 years. I have recently started surprise testing at different times of his curve so he doesn't have a chance to get stressed. Example one week I will test him twice 2 hrs in, the next week 4 hour in ect. High number 350 lows 90's
