Yesterday, someone paid attention to the dosecrease threat. I went to bed at a 280.

It's a cold, dry but damp in the air day. Cats are in the solarium. Neko's eaten a bit of this, a bit of that. I cracked open some kangaroo, which she dove into for about 4 bites. I can't pass that one off onto the civie, as roo is one of the proteins that don't agree with him. Neko's appy is on the low side. IM vet wants me to hold off on cypro and just try using Pepcid for 10-14 days. Not sure I can wait that long. Tomorrow when I'm gone a good part of the day she'll get cypro well before breffs to make sure she eats well before I'm gone.

We headed to the cove for rowing today, but there were whitecaps out in the inlet. So yet again a no go. Season is about over. :(

I agree with Gill - green is a good color for you, Neko. You should wear it more often. But stay away from the neon shades, they take away from the lovely contrast between your black and white fur. ;):D

Sending more appy vines. Eat, please, Neko!

Good girl Neko, keep it dark green :D and eat your fuds sweet girl. Sorry rowing season is almost over...what do you do in the winter? Always feel good and appy vines for your girl.

Green and blue. Nice day so far, Neko. Keep it going!

I hope you'll get in a few more rows before winter arrives. We're supposed to have a few favorable days next week and plan to take advantage of them. Have a good weekend, Wendy. Will the high school girls row be cancelled if conditions are not favorable?

Beautiful numbers- can't believe how bad the weather has been, at least the summer came out a bit today!

hope you get some more rows in! And hope Neko's appy perks up soon! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

That's too bad about missing your rowing. I hike and it revives me. Seems like some hard physical exercise saves my sanity as well.

We actually had sun today!! That was exciting - it's back to rain tomorrow. Even one day now and then lifts the spirits of everyone though.

All right Neko - cypro tomorrow to help with your appy!!

Sending good appy vines to your little girl. I hope you get to row a bit more still. Fall is closing in.

Looks like a bounce surf today. I picked up potassium glauconite and started that with PM fuds. Poor girl, fuds has so many additives now that I am just doing the essentials, binder, K, and Restoralax. Appy still slow. We had a really good fluids cuddle today after dinner. I do fluids in the bathroom, with a heat reflective pad on the floor. She is still there. Fluids is our time. Poor civie was jealous.

We had a bit of sun today too, we were all squinting like moles out of their holes. Outflow winds forecast tomorrow. We'll be Ok if the wind doesn't curl into the cove. Poor high school boys and girls just don't know how to dress for this weather. I'll be toasty wearing fleece inside my hip waders and goretex.

Last row possibility is Sunday, then we go to just Saturdays as weather permits, rowing with the juniors. In four months last year, that meant just four rows. We are trying to arrange something with another club across the inlet, that has more protected waters, but that would just be the occasional day. I worked out on the erg (rowing machine) today. Ugh, so boring, though really good for strength and cardio. A bunch of us are going to get some performance testing done, specific for rowers. They will suggest a workout plan for us.

Exactly!!! Haven't seen much sun here in a while. I was so happy to see it today - took the grandson for a stroll in the woods behind our place. It was so lovely but he was getting the sun in his eyes, so I draped my fleece over the stroller awning to block it. Wasn't cold without the fleece. We're having records broken for the amount of rain we've had this month.

The fluids time sounds precious. We love our little ones.
