Good morning!
AMBG 119
Up early today I have a day full of mini sessions outdoors! So at +10 DH got up to start coffee and lifted Boomer's dish up. DH says he ate very little if anything of the +9 but of course wanted to eat it at +10 when DH was picking it up.
Tomorrow I may get at right at +9 (5:00) to make sure Boomer eats so that I can get a "good" test at AMBG and then another at +3 to see what's going on.
Not sure what to do if levels are still this high tomorrow....to the vet for blood work? Or are these levels not high enough to worry about that yet? I dunno. But I don't have time to worry about it today. Not that there's anything I could do about it today anyways!

My first customer for today just cancelled; husband is ill. But is rebooking a full session (instead of a mini session) for next weekend.

Here is a picture of the park where I shot a large family session yesterday. It was raining at the start of the session but we delayed for about 15 minutes and luckily it stopped.

I don't think I would worry about this one number - especially since his +3s have all looked great. Boomer, you've got this!

...and have a good day today, Judy. I hope that everyone else will show up for their mini sessions and that you will get lots of great pictures.

BFG has been 'misbehaving' too, getting blue ambg, (haven't updated ss), his pmbg has been green (just), I tend to check pmbg if I don't like the ambg.
I'm not sure what to do about his blues either. I had been wondering if it was the colder weather, darker mornings:confused:, all p's in place including some prancing and singing going on, so seems like he is feeling good. I tell myself he's more than a number, and I am just keeping an eye out for an upward trend should it happen.

If it were me I would probably check pmbg tonight for Boomer see if those numbers are looking better.

That's a good idea. I just got home as Boomer's +9 dish opened and he's eaten all of it (almost) so I picked it up and I'll be able to test at PMBG knowing that he hasn't had food in 3 hours.

Just got home. First mini session was cancelled due to her husband's illness; she said she will rebook a full session for hopefully next weekend. I had 6 half hour sessions plus I did both my daughters' families and my step-son's family afterwards. Tired now.
DH tried 3 times to test Boomer at +3 and couldn't draw any blood

I don't think those numbers are any cause for worry. These things are often cyclical. It's the big picture that matters. The readings are in the "normal range for a non-diabetic cat".
Lovely park for your photographic work.
Hang in there, Judy, and don't worry.

Yo Deputy Boomer, get yourself back in the lagoon soon so your mamabean won't fret!

Still a bit concerned; last time Boomer started giving me some low blue numbers then all of a sudden he jumped up to mid blues and went back on insulin. Time will tell I guess!
