Good morning all. A crisp sunny autum day here (and oops I'm sneezing a lot this morning!)
Sootie's fasting (as of 8:25pm est last night) ambg was 132.
We made it vetty on time to check in for her abdominal u/s.
The u/s vetty is a traveling one; and had not yet checked in when I left a few minutes ago to get a cuppa Java. Am heading back there in a few minutes (stopping to get more baby fud on the way).
Sootie's not been in a kennel cage or away from home without me since her overnight spay in kittenhood. So the kennel thing is kinda freaky for her (plus two droolers, one a barker, also waiting for u/s). They do respond and with interest to calming combo of wink blink shhh. Thank gawd. Soots and I did snuggle and brush time on my lap for a good two hours, intermittently introducing her to kennel space. One of the senior house cats, Martin, a very mellow calm energy guy, stayed near us.
Hoping by the time I get back, we'll know more about the traveling u/s vet's eta. Doing bloodwork and UA today too,
Hoping all having a smoothly sailing day. Vines for all and thank you all for hanging in there with us!
