Wow, gutsy shot, Eric. Not sure what it will do. Sometimes it means a higher cycle because of a bounce, or she could rise awhile and then drop. Will you be around?

No l'm at work. I was given the advice that since Phoebe was DKA before that a 1u shot is doable at the 150 to 200 range.
 
Good morning Eric! Are you working today, or will you be able to get some mid-cycle tests in?
 
I know this has been a long process, Eric, but I think you are doing a great job. Her numbers are gradually lowering and bounces are not as common. But she definitely takes a while to "budge". You don't need the "patience pants" we usually offer people; you have amazing patience. Lucky because I don't think we have them in men's sizes. :p
 
Hahaha Sue! As for pants l wish it was still short weather here in northern Illinois! Patience is all l can be for Phoebe. I've never dealt with diabetes in any kind before her. She's come along way since September (bad month for us) of 2015 and July of 2016. Family and Friends have all commented on Phoebe and her appearance, energy, and disposition. She my miracle friend. Thanks too all of you that have assisted us along the way. ❤
 
Hi Eric. How much/often are you feeding Phoebe the Fancy Feast? I ask because some people are saying that the formula has changed and it's raising their cats BG. I don't feed it any more, so I don't know if it's true or not.

I feed her a 3oz. can in the a.m. and a 3oz. can in the p.m.. I was told by several people on here that the FF classic formula was still the same that's why they recommended it.

Not sure about that drop. The dose seems logical and has been doing fine. Maybe wait to see if you get a repeat before switching up anything. The general consensus seems to be that activity does lower BG levels, but that would be quite a reaction.

Nice job calmly bringing it up!

Thank you Sue. That was also the 1st time l tried too curve with FF Gravy. I used two table spoons over a 30 minute period. Maybe that caused the high AMPS reading in the morning?
