It seems like Hugo heard the threat of an increase after today and decided to show that he can indeed have green on this dose too. I only fed him at shottime and +1, then waited if he could go lower and he did drop a lot from +1.5 290 to +3.5 108. I gave lc at +3.75 so it seems to have made him go up again. I wish he surfed but nope...Well, anyway...green!

Yay for green. I'd say the fast drop made him bounce, not what you fed him. I hope Hugo heads back to green once he clears the bounce.

I was just about ready for bed, but thought about testing once more and I'm glad I did. 68! It's +5.5. I gave LC, and postponed my bedtime.

Not sure if it weren't for the 299@+3 last night which seemed to indicate he was on the up after the promising +2, I would have said he saw green last night. Wonder if it was a dodgy reading?

Hmm. Maybe. It's true that he usually only has red after a green number, so it is possible. But somehow I was so convinced last night that he was going to be in pink and went to bed. I left out lc to two bowls and the cats had eaten half from both. It must be that he dropped. I feel bad if that happened without me knowing

Thanks Gill I guess I need to test once more on nights like that, just to make sure I know where he's at. It's a scary thought of something happening while I sleep. I always try not to leave too much food out, but enough that there is some for all.

Now +6 73, I will wait until the foodspike clears and then retest. Hugo is sleeping like a baby, but purrs each time I turn on the lights to test him.
