Tonight we picked up Tutz from the airport & she's become part of our family!

Tutz came to through DCIN as her owner is just starting her military career & is not able to care for Tutz.

Since Tutz has not yet started treatment for her diabetes I plan on checking her blood sugar tomorrow & start insulin in a day or two if need be.

I'm not sure age even has diabetes as according to her vet records she was only tested with a glucometer while she was at the vets office. We will see what her numbers are at tomorrow & go from there.

Tutz is 3 years old & weighs 5 kilograms & was spayed in April.

It is a wonderful thing you are doing Jennifer.......I am sure Vegetable is happy you are doing this.

Congratulations on your new fur baby! What a cutey Tutz is! I too am sure Vegetable is very pleased with your new family addition. Looking forward to hearing more about Tutz as she gets settled in.
