My question is: Is there anything in it that I should worry about him having? http://www.iherb.com/Nature-s-Bount...KzIYJvLJkxOcisjfFc0giqoLzdDcAir53IhoCGzrw_wcB
This is what I bought. I got it at a local drug store. In case you don't want to bother with the link, here are the ingrediants: 1,000 mg b-12
Other ingredients :vegetable Steric Acid,Silica, Vegetable magnesium Sterate, Natural Cherry Flavor, Vegetable cellulose. it says it doesn't have sugar, starch, gluten, milk, actose, soy, gluten, yeast or sodium.

If I give my kitty 1 a day would it be safe?

I Have a bottle of the stuff the vet gave me to inject him with but it has been expired for about 6-7 months so I was going to try another option.
I imagine if it has sugar its Fructose but it claims it has none

You could always take one yourself. If it tastes sweet, then they added some kind of sweetener.

What are you using the oral for? If it's for diabetic neuropathy, the injectable won't work.....it's a different form of B-12

The form of B-12 that works best for neuropathy is Methylcobalamin....the injectable is usually Cyanocobalamin

When he was diagnosed a few years ago the vet had me inject him with 0.5ml once a week. It was for neropathy.
But the vet that prescribed it only wanted me to check the cats sugar maybe once a day. They also sold me expensive diabetic carb food a pill to block carbs so who knows. Also, they wanted me to give the cat fluids if his sugar was over 300. So I trust little that they told me
Edited to add: It was Cyanocobalamin 1000 ml

I tried them. Smokey wouldn't eat the food. Went back to zobaline. I take the others myself.
I bet it didn't help you and you still walk on your heels and not tippy-toe.

I bought a different brand once. There was no picture of fruit on the label. I tasted one. There was an almost undetectable sweetness. When I looked up the ingredients on the company's web, it contained natural cherry flavour and stevia.

He ate the pill dissolved in a small bit of tuna and nothing spiked. So I guess its a win win. I imagine if there was sugar in it that it is such a tiny amount that it doesn't amount to much.

I got the Sundown brand. It's states no sugar, lactose or artificial flavors. It says natural cherry flavor..

I still walk on heels, but constantly bang my toes. Lol.
