Yesterday's condo

Gorgeous all night surf from Walter! Even though his bean was convinced that he wanted to tease the sharks, he was a good boy and stayed away from them. So, in hindsight, it wasn't really necessary to have a pj party... but the kits sure liked it.

Mandarin is still hanging out in yellow. If there's no improvement by tonight, he'll be due for a dosecrease in the morning. Good news is though that he is being a very good boy and I am having a much easier time testing him.

I better run - my volunteer shift is about to start. Nothing like walking 20 dogs in 90 degree weather after very little sleep. This picture of little Iris just about sums up how I feel... if only I would look that cute when I'm tired. ;)

Iris, you are so stinking cute and your personality comes through in every photo.

Nice numbers Walter! Mandarin, the dosecrease threat has been tabled; how about showing your mama bean that you don't really need it?
Iris is so cute! That's how I felt yesterday, for sure!
Have a good walk! My son in law works at a doggy day care and walks sometimes 30 dogs at a time, 2 or 3 times a day!
 
I'm so glad Mandarin is easier to test now...one less thing to worry about. Hopefully he is taking that dosecrease threat seriously!

Iris is just crazy-cute!!!

You sound a little better today Christina and glad our little Mandarin is settling back into the routine. Hopefully not for long and praying hard the dental kicks in the butt.

Good work last night Walter. Now that we know you can do it, please do it again! Mandarin, hang in there. You're going to get those horrible teethses removed soon and then you'll feel better. Good job on being easier to test last night. Not that we want you to have to go through testing again, but remember how smoothly it used to go? It's the same now, but with the addition of 4 yelling little kits getting in the way. ;)
 
Apparently, Walter had so much fun at the lagoon last night that he got right back on his surfboard. :D Nice surprise... and glad that I caught this before he dropped even lower.

The kittens are all extra crazy today... probably because I had to get up extra early and run out the door, rather than playing with them.

Yes, she sure looks like a Siamese - her markings are getting more and more beautiful now that she is getting older. And she still has those bright blue eyes! ...but she came in a box with 5 other kittens that were dumped at the shelter where I volunteer and none of them looked like her. So she's probably a mix.

@Gill & George and @Connie & Max Iris is up for adoption... or at least she will be once she is old enough to get spayed. ;) She really is a sweetheart! She still sleeps on my face every night, purring herself to sleep.

...and all of the kits love the little strawberry bed. Thanks again, @Doodles & Karen for sending it! It is the perfect bed for kittens.

I'm fully catted with Leda--but Iris not only looks like my first cat, she sounds like she acts like her too! My mutt Siamese would come paw at the covers until I lifted them up, and then would sleep curled up purring on my stomach. I'm sure Iris will make any adoptive family fall in love!

If I lived in the US I would be so tempted to have her. Sending her to Europe would seem wrong, and in particular to Spain, a large number of unwanted/abandoned cats and dogs that end up at rescue centers (these are the lucky ones:( ) end up being adopted out of Spain to Germany, UK, Holland and other northern European countries, the unwanted pet problem here is astronomical, so it would seem wrong to bring a kitty in from the US.

But she is soooo very cute I am sure she will have lots of takers.:cat::cat::cat:
