yes it was pricey, but the thing I did the most was touch Shadow's nose... it's soft little velvet texture ....
you can see that the jewelry even takes on the texture....
The lady has a kit she sends you to make a cast or you can buy a product called Amazing mold putty on amazon.
This is what she tells you to buy if the putty she sends isn't enough....
there are two puttys that you mold together and then they dry kind of rubberized .... they don't do anything separately; it's the combination that makes them set. Obviously it can handle hot molten silver.
The pendant is actually very thick and heavy.
I must have made 10 castings of Shadow's nose trying to get the right depth..... She was tired of me doing it ....
You could make a casting and put it away until you save up money to spend on yourself for this item......
You can also make a mold of a footprint.....
There is also this item which I haven't bought yet.....
