did it help Carter?
It did! He had trace amounts of crystals (not enough for a blockage like the first time) but by his next UA, the only thing that was in his urine was glucose... hence the diabetes! :p No more crystals but I haven't used it since because I assumed it wasn't diabetic safe. I use Cranimals for my dog who is prone to UTI's.

D-mannose is the active protective agent in cranberries. Cranberry is not recommended for cats with kidney issues (it's acidifying). Supplementing d-mannose instead gives the benefit without the acidification problems.

I have been giviing my Callie. the D-mannose after she got a UTI along with her antibiotic. I have been mixing it with her food and some extra water. So far, she is doing well. She has finished the antibiotic but I will keep her on the D-mannose for a week or two to prevent a reinsurance.

I am going to give Dre a size 5 capsule 3-4 x a week I think for a while to prevent--It worked great for me and if its good enough for me its good enough for my boy:cat:
