I think Squallie is just being very bouncy right now, but is he acting okay? How are his teeth? Any other issues?

Some cats just lose momentum and have to go back up again higher than they were before in order to get back on track. :bighug::bighug:

He seems fine, playing, purring, eating well, no litter box issues, no ketones. He does have 1 or 2 bad teeth but the vet said they aren't bad enough to warrant removal at this point, and it doesn't interfere with his eating.

It seems like this happens every couple of months with him; he'll go along great for a while then all of a sudden his numbers start rising and get out of control. Unfortunately, judging by past history, it seems like it can take a month or more to get them back under good control. I don't know why this happens, there doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason for it but i can almost always tell when it's about to happen - his ears get very warm, his coat starts to look kind of greasy and he gets the beginnings of stud tail (yuck). When his numbers are back in control all that clears up. So...I dunno. Frustrating!!!:arghh::confused:
