An Almost All Green Day

Ahh, I knew it was too good to last - back to a blue preshot (greedy, aren't I?). :( Still, it didn't take Harvey long to head into work again! :D

Appy is so-so. He only ate a little at t/f/s, but he's eaten about half his breakfast, over several visits to the dish. Guess I should go ahead and give him the tummy meds.

I have a counter full of dirty dishes from last night awaiting me. Chuck always wants to wash them for me, but I refuse to let a guest wash dishes, so I managed to pry him out of the kitchen and back to the card table, where I proceeded to fleece everyone of their quarters! :p Well, everyone but DH - he won, too! Not sure when Chuck and Kathy will want to drive all the way out here again after that, although Mark's ribs are a pretty strong enticement. ;) The race was a disappointment, with our guy involved in a wreck early and never really recovering from that. We didn't like any of the drivers that were vying for the lead, so it was a case of "oh, just get it over with!" for us! Good thing we had good food and good company to console us.

Hope everyone in the US and Canada is having a great holiday weekend, and those of you in Europe are relaxing in preparation for the week ahead.

Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans. :bighug: Mega vines and prayers to Amy and her DF. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Nice cycle Harvey. And really good strategy on your part to not let the guest wash the dishes then sack him of his money! At least they got a nice rib dinner out of the deal! Hope you are having a wonderful 4th weekend. Don't do what we are doing and that is washing windows. I would rather iron clothes. Someday I will find my real parents and the trust fund they set up for me. Until then, I will take care of this little old lady that lives with us with absolutely no assets.

Don't do what we are doing and that is washing windows.
Don't remind me how badly mine need to be washed! It's always so windy here that it is very difficult to wash the outside of the upstairs windows. At least, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! :joyful:

I did get something accomplished, though. I FINALLY got all my winter tops moved to the guest room closet, and went through the summer ones, packing up the ones that are too tight  and culling a half dozen for donation. Now that part of my closet it organized again. We'll see how long that lasts!

Time to go dish up Harvey's dinner and call DH in out of the yard to give him his insulin.

When I first read that I thought you were going to give DH insulin. :p I see Wendy mentioned that too.
Ha ha. I did think about that when I typed it, but I was too lazy to change it, and I figured you all would know what I meant. Should have known someone would call me on it! It made perfect sense in my head (but then, a lot of things do... ;)).

Harvey has eaten about 1/3 of his dinner. It's warm, but not hot today - lovely breeze and all the windows open. He's got another hour or so until I can give him tummy meds, so if he hasn't eaten more by then I'll break 'em out.
