Yesterday

The run of lovely numbers continues. :D Harvey went a little lower than I'd like today because he wasn't eating much this morning. I did give the Ondansetron, but it didn't seem to make a difference, so a couple hours later I gave Cypro and that did the trick. He ate about 3/4 of a can of Friskies! :woot: So far he's only eaten half of his dinner, but he may still be full from eating most of the day (until mean old Mama took it away!). We'll see how the rest of the evening goes. I keep waiting for the ugly numbers to show up, but .....(anti-jinx).

It was pretty warm here today, but there was a cool breeze, so we kept the windows open and never turned the A/C on. I was tempted, 'cause after my workout I was cleaning, so there was a lot of sweatin' going on, but DH didn't think "we" needed it on, so I toughed it out. I got almost everything accomplished that I wanted to, before our friends come over tomorrow night. All that's left is sweep and mop the kitchen and dining area floors, and I'll do that right before bed tonight, so no one is wanting to walk on them while they're damp.

Time to go get dinner in the oven. I hope all our Canadian members had a lovely Canada Day, and our American Members are gearing up for a great Independence Day!

Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans. :bighug: Extra strength vines and prayers to Amy's DF. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Tricia, I had to give Max ondansetron. The first dose didn't do much. I upped the dose and knock wood it's working tonight.

Nice numbers for Harvey but I feel the same way about the low ones.

I've recently discovered I can give the Ondansetron crumbled on food. Sure makes life easier, if she's eating. Looks like you've proven that Harvey needs his cypro to get him going. Paws crossed those lovely cycles just keep on coming.:D

Nothing like visitors to get the house clean. ;) That was me earlier this week.

Harvey's looking good! 3/4 can is awesome, even if you did need the Cypro to nudge him to eat. Yes, having company is the best incentive to clean. I'm moving into a new place soon so my living room is currently a disaster of boxes and piles of things (donate vs pack vs go through and decide).

If you've been able to work out, does that mean your foot is doing better? Hope so! One more week until I get to add eggs back in. :woot:

Thanks for visiting us, Elise, Wendy, and Shane. Harvey still isn't eating tonight. :( I offered two other flavors and no sale. I'll be giving him Ond & Cypro in a little while. He seems to otherwise feel fine - he's climbing all over me right now.

I'm ashamed to admit that pretty much the only time I really clean is when someone is coming over . The rest of the time it's just "a lick and a promise". At least they aren't overnight guests, so the cleaning is a bit less thorough and the guest room is available to dump stuff in! ;)

If you've been able to work out, does that mean your foot is doing better?
Yes, Shane, my foot's been virtually pain free for a couple of weeks or more! The cortisone shot, combined with my wearing shoes ALL THE TIME, and wearing the splint at night seems to be the combination to take care of it for me. I did a LOT of walking this past weekend with no issues. :)

One more week until I get to add eggs back in
How long do you have to go between each category that you add back in? I've done everything but dairy, which I'm doing tomorrow (our friends are bringing 31 Flavors ice cream for dessert). I wasn't in a hurry for it, as I really don't eat it that much anyway, and I'm pretty sure that's where my issues lie. No problems with anything else I've added back.

Well, Harvey just went over and ate about 1/4 of his dinner, so maybe we're getting someplace. He's gonna have to eat more than that to avoid the meds, though. Wait, he's gone back to the dish again....o_O Stay tuned for further developments.

Maybe he's just still pretty full from his big meal earlier today? That's quite a bit for him to eat in one sitting, isn't it?

Hopefully he's eaten enough to avoid the pills tonight!

How's his weight doing?

Yo Harvey!! Looks like mama didn't get all the juice in tonight (or she just put it in a bad place) so I'm spending some "quality time" with Rusty in the lifeguard tower....The lagoon is yours man!!...Of course we're scanning the horizon with the binoculars for kitties getting out too far!

That's quite a bit for him to eat in one sitting, isn't it?
Well, he didn't eat it all in one sitting. He would eat a little, go away for a while, then come back and eat some more, all day (until about +9).

His weight has been pretty stable for the past couple of months - hanging within a couple of ounces. He's around 8 lb 15 oz and his "ideal" weight is 9 lbs.

He still hasn't eaten much. He's getting his meds in about 5 minutes.

Glad to hear your foot is doing better! Enjoy your time with the guests, even if you don't love the ice cream...

I'm supposed to wait 5-7 days between reintroducing foods. 5 if all goes well, but if I have a bad reaction, wait the extra couple days until I get over whatever the reaction was before adding something new. Looks like early August before wine is on the menu (there's an order to the reintroductions). At least I'll be able to have some margaritas before summer ends, and that's all that matters. :p

Eat your fuds, Harvey!!

I spent today cleaning what will be my exercise room soon. It has no windows so after a few minutes of reorganizing the storage closet, where all my holiday decorations are, I was working up quite a sweat. I wish my swamp cooler was working. :(
