Yesterday's condo

After a perfect surf yesterday, Walter is starting out in higher numbers. Very happy though that he has found his way back into the lagoon after the pet-sitter reduction. And that he is already coming back down.

The kits are more ornery than ever. Iris is also proud to announce that she has figured out the cat wheel all on our own. I have no clue how she even manages to move it with her tiny body (sheer willpower is my guess), but I am glad that she has found an outlet for her energy. Daddy Capone is a bit concerned though about this new form of exercise.

I've had the wheel for a while (a year at least). Capone will use it when I have turkey in my hand to lure him. Sparrow runs on it every once in a while. And Mandarin is afraid of it. But I have had several fosters who thought it was pretty awesome... I never imagined that a tiny kitten could move it though. It's about 4 feet in diameter.

I just found the website where I got it: One Fast Cat. It was kind of a pain to put together, but I managed to do it by myself.
