is the nadir the halfway point between shots (for lantus, that would be 6 hours)? Or is it the lowest recorded point between shots?
Thanks

It is that, the lowest BG. For Lantus that is usually between 5-7 hoursOr is it the lowest recorded point between shots?
Ok so its possible that you could miss a reading of the nadire, unless you were testing hourly? I mean you would focus testing between 5-7 but it could theoretically happen earlier or later and you wouldnt know unless you were testing at least hourly? I'm trying to understand this.It is that, the lowest BG. For Lantus that is usually between 5-7 hours
Usually one does what is called a curve, which is taking a BG reading every two hours after a shot. That will give a good indications at at what time is the nadire. Based on the curve one may later what to take a BG reading a say +5 or +7 or another time if it looks like the nadire is at other than about +6
