That is odd with all the great numbers Squallie has had lately. If it was a fur shot, he'll get back on track. It happens.
 
I don't know...he's gotten so good at tensing up his back that it's hard to get a good pinch of skin to shoot. I had a hard time just now, and while I didn't feel any wet on his fur I could smell Lantus on my hand after I checked.

ETA: I also began using his old bottle of Lantus again after his pen ran out (and having earlier determined that the bottle was, indeed, still good) but maybe it really has gone kaput now. I guess today will tell.
 
He was trending upward last night and threw that odd ball pink back on 5/31 but still made it to green that day. Hopefully you'll see a repeat and he'll head on back down. Always a bit of a mystery with these kitties. Hope you have a good day!
 
So is he just being a cat and throwing me some crazy numbers, just'cuz he can, or is my Lantus running out of steam?

It's pretty old, I got it second-hand, so it's been around a while. I really wasn't expecting that 91, at this point! I guess I'll try the Lantus again tonight and see if anything changes; if not, maybe crack open a new pen in the AM.

Sure, no problem! See, when the moon is in the seventh house, and Jupiter aligns with Mars, there's a high probability that the ormlets won't riffle clean. Then the grevenzics start throwing out those weird numbers, and Bob's your uncle! Simple, really, when you think about it. ;)
