Any thought on why a cat's levels would be this low without insulin? We are feeding every 6 hours - perhaps maybe not enough food? We are feeding a little above the the recommended calories. Hotch is about 13 pounds and eats about 330 calories a day. 1.5 5.5 oz cans and about 40 Cals from kibble at dinner. I really don't have a clue...

I am really hoping the vet was wrong and he didnt have diabetes that his levels were high from something else and now hes better.

Is 2.6 not hypo low though or is that normal for a non-diabetic cat? I am wondering about that too...

No insulin = No hypo!!

That's a beautiful number!! 46.8 on my scale!!

My civvies sometimes test in the high 30's, so it's totally normal for Hotch to be in the 40's..and as long as there's no insulin being given, that's a joyful number!!

No insulin = No hypo!!!

Ohhhhh good. I was running around in the kitchen and gave him a scoop of FF with gravy on his dinner  . He enjoyed it.
I was reading on a website about low numbers in non diabetic cats and it was suggesting pancreas/liver problems and to get your cat to eat - but we definitely don't have that problem.

Thank you for making me feel better!!!!!!!
