Hello all:)

Last condo

prayers and vines for all that need them:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Well BFG is a happy kitty, all his p's are in place, still comes for his pokes, and yes I am still testing twice a day, can't see myself stopping:rolleyes:

He's had two months without insulin and though he still flirts with the blues basically he's holding steady and we've had some Bg's in the 60's which made me happy.:)

Today I've been getting our guest bedroom and it's ensuite cleaned up, we have friends arriving next week, no sooner was my back turned, and BFG was on the pillows busily grooming himself:rolleyes: he wasn't impressed at having to move. What is it with cats and a freshly made bed?

He's taken to coming with me to feed the chickens, but appears to have no interest in them I think he just comes for the walk and fresh air, and the girls don't seem to mind him at all, they are growing like weeds, we've still a while before we get eggs though, can't wait.

We've been feeding a stray/semi feral (Albert) by the kitchen door, I call him my feline stalker, whenever I am out in the garden he appears from nowhere, he howls and howls incessantly at me, following me around while I do my gardening he now get's pretty close but wont let me touch him. Maybe one day he'll figure out I mean him no harm. He's a tiny little cross eyed Tabby, I doubt he weighs more than a couple of kg, looks like a kitten but I know he's a about a year and half old because I remember the litter being born, and boy is he loud what he lacks in stature he makes up for in volume

LOL Gill :D

Albert the stalker will come to you one day and want to be touched you will see. Jaka was shy at first too. Now i can carry him around and i can touch almost every street cat i am feeding (except Ginger who is still playing hard to get ;) )

That is their job ;) and fresh clothes

Good boy George! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Awesome George report. Good to hear he's getting exercise visiting the chickens, maybe you need multiple trips a day.;)

Are you naming your kitties after royalty? My parents have a neighbour who named her miniature donkeys after the Windsors. I seem to remember a George and an Albert in there.

Is Albert trying out for the Spanish opera? Maybe a duet with George?:p

Wonderful report on George. Yes, freshly made beds and clean unfolded laundry for cats to land. :blackeye: Guess it's a good thing he's not too interested in the girls. We don't want them to get their hen feather crossed and not become prolific with the eggs. ;)

Does George mind Albert hanging around? I like the idea of a pending duet with BFG and Albert.

And yet again more guests! Your accommodations must be so comfy for so many to come so often.

Tell BFG that we are happy to hear a wonderful update on him. :bighug:

LOL no but it sounds like it. Albert has a brother (or so we thought) we named him Alexander (turns out he's a she, so guess she'll beocome Alexandra) they are named after Spanish Cyclists
Alberto Contador and Alejandro Valverde.

Georges full name is George Orwell, when we brought him home from the rescue centre he made straight for our bookcase and swiped a bunch of books of the shelf and ensconced himself on the shelf remaining their all day, so we decided to name him after a favorite author. I wanted to go with Laurence....

George seems non plussed by Albert, Albert freaks out when he sees George, he tries to make himself look big, George looks at him with disdain 'hey mate I could eat you for my +3 snack' Albert is soooo tiny George is not threatened by him at all and ignores him.
On the singing front I think George would get stage fright if he had to perform with Albert, that little guy has one heck of a voice!!! would put George to shame, I'll see if I can record him one day.:)

Good going George and enjoy those chickens! We once converted a feral kitty that lived near a country Pub by giving it raw beef patties or chicken. It took a while then before we know it she welcomed her kitty bed and being inside the pub at night away from the coyotes.

my boys love a fresh bed although I should be making it fresh more often... Rico now eats on the bed so it makes it a bit difficult:banghead:
I get a loofah scrub while I sleep:rolleyes:
Give BFG a BIG squeeze for me!!:cat:

Nice report on George! I guess it's a good thing he's not TOO interested in the chickens. Post a pic of Albert if you can. He sounds like a character. :)

Gotta love the vocal ones! The little Siamese kit that I am fostering also LOVES to voice her opinion very loudly. I have a feeling that I might regret the idea that I put their crate into my bedroom.

Great to hear that BFG is doing so well and that he is being so accepting of his new feathered family members and of the noise intruder.

Gill, I think I missed George going OTJ.
CONGRATULATIONS.....that is great!!!
I am sooooo happy for you both.
I was wondering why I hadn't seen condos from you! ( I haven't been around much lately either)
