She's not too low. Just feed lc am test again in an hour. Normal is 50-120 if following TR. Are you following TR or SLGS?

slgs. She just tested at +4 78

I gave her more food, and 2.5mls honey. By the time she's stable, she'll have the most decayed teeth in all of catdom

ou know? That's a good question. We started with SLGS, but reduced her from 15 to 13 after the last nightmare, and if onoy I'd gt the message in time, I would have dosed her at PNPS 11U.

That doesn't sound like SLGS, does it?
 
Morning Kathy, you are doing a great job, sorry TiTi is having another PJ party, seems like she's quite the party animal.

my SS isn't set up to deal woith half hours, so it's a bit confusing.
I just gave her some Fancy Feast pate turkey and giblets, and 2 more ml honey.

This is a fast drop and I mean to keep ahead of it. I guess I'll put on some coffee and a pizza, after I test her, cuz now is the time.
 
To show half hours, type the BG that you got at the hour in the cell, hit the space bar, then put in the other BG followed by @ and x.5. So in your +3 cell, you type 101 (space) 78@3.75. Then you go up to the task bar at the top and click on the icon that looks like a U-turn arrow (it's over the O column). A box will drop down. You click on the same icon in that box, and that will wrap your text. You then color the square in manually by using the icon that looks like a paint bucket. You can see it on my SS if you want to see how it looks. I rarely manage to get tests on the hour!
 
Kathy, I wish I had some advice, but this is way beyond me. I'm happy I was able to help with the ketone testing, one less thing to worry about!
 
Kathy, do you have a Walmart near you? The Contour Next strips are only $15.77 for 50. You may have to order them online if they don't have them in stock, but you can pick them up at the store or have them sent to your house with an additional $8 for shipping.

If there's a problem with strips, I've got a spare Relion Prime meter and a large stash of strips. At $18 for 100, I stocked up. Kathy, if you need anything, feel free to send me a message.

80 miles round trip. Don't dare leave TiTi for that long.

But by tonorrow morning, hopefully , she'll be stable enough.

I also must take Mikey to my vet - black tarry diarrhea, lethargy, dehydration - sudden onset. I rehydrated him, gave him pain meds, and 1ml prednisone, so he's stable, but he's gotta go in around 7am

Fortunately , she's only 7 miles away.

The prob right now is geography. 80 miles round trip to Walmart. They open early, but I got to get Mikey to the vet - 7 miles only, but in the opposite direction.

Dunno how, but I do not intend to lose either of them.
 
I've already got your address, so I'll send out a care package for TiTi this weekend. Hopefully it makes it to you Tuesday.
 
Sending vines for your Mikey. I hope it's nothing serious. Well, you can order them from Walmart and have them sent to your home. I imagine the shipping is only slightly more than the gas you'd spend to drive there and back!

ok, sure

I did the SS but it's a problem with coloe - needs to be 2 colors, so I went with green on one and blue on the other, but lighter in each case.
 
There was talk of having you shoot 11 units. Can you get a +11 and post for advice?

I think you can stop the honey now. In fact, don't give her any food unless she drops again. We need to see if she can stay up on her own.

been out in the garden this morning before it gets too hot.
Just got to finish up putting some irrigation in for our veg, but once that's done I can keep an eye out for you once the others have gone to bed.
 
oo. Good timing. I was getting ready to feed her again.

Well I guess, but I got to get to Walmart's, and pick up some food. Unbelievably I don't need to get kitty litter. TiTi's perfectly normally peeing and drinking, for 5 days now.

And I got to get Mikey to my vet.

They open at 7, and close at noon, and it's not an ppt, but they'll take her. They're good that way. Naturally Mikey was absolutely fine, until 10pm.

7 miles to my bet. Takes, 20 minutes, 20 minutes to check her in, I hope, and 20 minutes to get back home. Probably an hour - all country roads.
