Last night his numbers where in the 300 after .5 units, should I give 1 unit???
So you're saying that he got a dose some where between a "fat" 0.5 and 0.75, is that right? I agree with Sue - should discuss it here tonight before dosing.I gave between .5 and maybe a little more not 1 unit.
This is a much better, less-extreme drop here at mid-cycle today, so I'm pleased to see it. I figure if he's already fighting off an infection (with the help of the Clavamox), it's probably better to take it kind of "slow & easy" on the dosing. (Gee, I still can't help shuddering5+ 251
I will be giving his dose around 6 eastern time tonight.
That is about 3 pm my time (I'm on California time in AZ), so I'll try to be around for you, Dana.any chance you'll be around then? I haven't the slightest clue what time that is for you!
One of our annoying little sayings around here is: "Better too high for a day than too low for a moment." So when you can't be home to monitor his numbers, it's always better to err on the side of safety.Wondering what I should do tonight? I guess we'll wait and see how high it is. I have to work tomorrow and my husband will be at school so I'm really concerned for that.
So you shot between .5 and 1 today? Hmmm...you might go with something like that again tonight.
Yes, I think you might just stick with this dose for a few more cycles. His PMPS is already down considerably over his morning pre-shot #, and he may be trying to stabilize and adjust to this dose. So I'd stay the course, if he were mine.ok PMPS is 347. Should I keep it to .5?
Dana, what you're seeing here at +1 is a typical rise in BG after eating, that's all - nothing to be concerned about. It went up again!!? 360 1+ He did eat some.
Oh, I've little doubt that he will; his trend is looking good!209 at 3+. Not bad now I just need the 4+ to go lower.
