Yesterday's condo with the box of kittens
Meet Fern (black and white), Flora (black) and Iris (Siamese)! Iris and Flora are tiny (10 and 13 ounces) and Fern is most likely from a different litter (she weighs 1 pound and 13 ounces). They are all anemic from fleas, Fern and Flora have an eye infection and Fern also has an ear infection. They are all severely malnourished - but, thankfully, they already have tiny little teeth and are more than happy to eat on their own.
Last night, I bathed all three of them in Dawn (since they are too little for flea meds). And after their bath and multiple small meals, they all slept soundly at my friend Kristen's house. She is taking them to work with her today so that her vet can look at them.
All of this was the perfect distraction from freaking out about my upcoming trip to Germany (I am leaving tomorrow). But now that the kits are safely at my friend's house, I am back to worrying about my crew. Walter's numbers are still running higher than I would like - but I went ahead and started his vacation reducie. I just hope that he manages to at least hit some blues on this dose.
Sending vines to all in need and thinking of @Lydia & Rosie & Basil(GA) in particular.
