Last night I tried to use food to slow the quick drop and prevent a bounce, and I failed spectacularly! So I'm trying it again tonight (assuming he's coming off a bounce), but starting earlier. Leda was hungry at AM +11 so I tested then and let him eat (Wellness and Weruva chicken), then I fed him again at dose time. I'll test at +1 and feed him again, and repeat at +2 and +3 assuming his BG is dropping. He's cozy, and wants to eat what my partner and I are having for dinner (hanger steak, he got a little).

thanks everyone for experience, advice, and support.

This is a humdinger of a bounce! Way to be dramatic, Leda!

The good news about bounces is that they'll clear. Looks like his bounces are clearing in less than 3 days, so let's hope it's not too long before he comes down out of the atmosphere!

When punkin was in a bounce, I only tested every 4-6 hours - less right after the bounce-causing-event and more often when I thought it was going to clear. If I saw a yellow test then I'd step up testing, thinking it was likely starting to clear the bounce.
