This AM number could be a bit inflated due to feeding him a snack at +10.5. He is still flirting with another reduction and I am trying to make sure it's not the larger depot talking. I think we are safe to say that if he goes lower than 50 today, we will take a reduction. Maybe I will skinny it up the first cycle or so.

Healing vines and prayers to all that need them especially to Paula and Smokey.

Bobbie, after looking at the SS, I have to ask, "When do you sleep?"

Bubba looks good!

LOL in between 12:30 AM and 2:15 an 4:30 . I go to bed around 8:30 -9:00 and get about 3-4 hours before I get up and test. Lately, I have been able to get right back to sleep if he isn't too low. But last night, I couldn't get back to sleep after the 2:30 test and was a zombie all day. If I had to work outside the house right now, I would not be able to do this.

I know that we seem to get up and start the day around the same time so I just wondered how you managed. I can't go back to sleep if my sleep cycle is interrupted for testing so now I stay up until at least a +4 or later every night and still manage to get up at 4:45 am every day. The older I get, the harder it is on my old bones too. At least on Sat/Sun. I manage to get a nap or two in so that helps. But I find myself needing more and more caffeine just to get through the work day M-F.

I hear you Sandi! I am 60 and have always required more sleep than most and now I am lucky if I get 6-7 hours total (not even in a row) Like I said, if I had to report to a job M-F I would be in big dippity do.

I am 61. For years I have had subclinical hyperthyroidism and in the last 5 or so have low grade full blown hyperthyroidism so I think that's part of why I can't go back to sleep quickly or at all and have a need to sleep and extra caffeine sometimes.

Ugh, that's a tough DX, Sandi. Hope you are stable with it.

Nice start for Bubba. I hope he surfs safely today. I don't know how you stay awake with all the late night testing you do. I'm thankful Furball didn't do that to me. I wouldn't have been able to go to work if I'd had to stay up all night testing.

Me neither. It's one of the downfalls of a late nadir cat..........

Looks like he might have an active AM cycle planned for a change! ...and I don't know how you do it either. I can stay up with Walter every once in a while, but after two nights of doing that, I turn into a zombie.

Yes, today could be active and I am down to 50 strips and I get panicky, lol. Going to Walmart after I drop my mom off at the center.

I read through this thread and had to look at Bubba's ss. Yikes. You guys really do work through the night. And day. And night.

Sure looks to me like there's a reduction brewing.

Bubba back on the job. Good boy.

For the most part I do get to sleep. I'm a night person. I go to bed 1AM after I make sure the feeder opens. Then get up at seven to test feed shoot, check for poop then go btb til nine. Sometimes I roll over and fall back to sleep but I try not to.
