Lots of meowing for a good hour before amps. He drank water and peed three big balls since I went to bed last night. He made up for the skipped poop yesterday. Ate his berbers but so far not the cat food. I didn't give him ondansetron last night and he ate well but gave him some this morning.

Thanks to all who visited last night and yesterday.

Prayers for all in need with extras for Cinco, Harvey, Gus, Crystal. Doodles. Happy Easter to those who celebrate.

Max is looking good and hope he stays on the surf board and eats more soon. Thank you for all the continued support Elise and hope you can have an enjoyable day. Extra  for Max :bighug: for you and prayers that your Mom is feeling good.

Nice numbers today, Max. Nothing like a little Easter green! :D Now you just need to eat your fuds and make Mama happy!

Happy Easter, Elise. Sending lots of vines and prayers for your DM.

Glad he's doing better. Why do you need to set a timer?

I hope your mom is feeling a bit better. Mine is driving me beserk :banghead::banghead::banghead: and she doesn't have a UTI. I can't wait to get home....

I can't see when Max has gotten the right amount of fluids when I'm on the floor holding the needle. If I stand up to look he sometimes moves and the needle pops out. I timed how long it takes and now I know when to turn off the fluids without having to look at the bag.

My mom is not doing well. She doesn't even fake it for my brother any more. Thanks for asking.

I know what you are going through. At least when there's a UTI medicatin helps. I'm sorry you are having a hard time. I didn't even know you were visiting her. :bighug:

I'm glad Max ate his dinner and wanted more. I used to give Minka food while she was getting her fluids. It helped keep her in one spot.
Max won't eat while getting fluids. He doesn't run away when done though because he waits for his special treat.

Really? I always just figured it would take longer than 2 1/2 minutes ....that's really awesome!
I have an IV pole so it's really tall and Max is on the ground so it's fast.

I think I solved the problem with checking to see if fluids are done. I set a timer! 100ml takes about 2:20 minutes.

He ate his PMPS wellness and was waiting for more when I grabbed him for fluids.
That is a great idea--I sit on the floor with the boys when giving fluids and it is hard to see the bag--I usually just use my judgement/intuition as to the"feel" of how much they got.
Brilliant idea!
