Flat Cat is back! Or should I say... Green Flat Cat Super-happy with Ivana's numbers yesterday and so far today. Her +3 this morning was at the bottom end of the greens, gave her 2t of HC to help offset the juice as it sets in.
Her appy is still small, but I think I just need to accept the fact that when she's in normal numbers, she doesn't eat much. I mean, she's nearly 18 yrs old and 99% sedentary (the other 1% is when she meanders to her food bowl or her litter box). I just have to trust that she's not silly enough to let herself starve to death.
Very impressive little girl! Every time you post how "young" she is it warms my heart. Think I mentioned before that my mom has her sister who is 16! Surf safely!
I'm sorry it was Chardy's time to go it sounds like is was a peaceful passing for your little feathered one. She was very blessed to be part of your family. Is Ivana missing her?
Yes, we think so. Yesterday she spent a while sleeping outside underneath Chardy's empty hutch. She doesn't go outside much (those pesky chickens and ducks are just way to smelly for her haha) so the fact that she spent so long out is definitely telling.
In other news - and you'll appreciate this Serryn - hubby and I are going out for dinner tonight. Don't do this often enough! It's a new vegetarian cafe that's recently opened, only the second dedicated vego place in my area, and tonight they're having a vegan night - three course menu, live music, and of course wine hehe. Can't wait! It's so great that Ivana is stable enough now that we can go out without worrying about her.
I am very jealous. It's so nice (and rare) to go places you don't need to grill the staff about all the ingredients! I hope you guys have the most wonderful night. I'll be looking for a report on the menu tomorrow, so I can drool
