cardiologist has basically run out of any tricks
How frustrating and sad especially with all the technology and resources out there. Sending prayers she continues fighting and starts feeling better. Good to hear Mr. Max man is eating and I understand about too much pee and water drinking. Hang in there Elise....:bighug::bighug:

Max sure does get a heck of a food spike....but glad to see he made it back down to green again today

Sorry to hear the news about your mom Elise. I certainly do understand how frustrating it is to hope that "someone" out there should be able to do "something!" and be faced with the reality that there just isn't

Will continue to hold you, Max and your mom in my prayers :bighug::bighug:

Thanks Chris. I think his food spike is also the previous dose eating off and the onset not started. I tested just shy of +2 and his onset is usually not before 2.5.

I'm glad to hear he's eating without the Ondansetron. Harvey doesn't seem to need it every day, but some days he really needs it. Today he didn't get anything and he's been eating like a champ, but yesterday he needed two doses (of course, I'm adding in a sliver of Cypro). I know what you mean about not wanting to hear any more bad news. Sometimes you just reach a point where you say "enough is enough"! :bighug:

I wish I had something brilliant to offer about your mom, but I don't. You and she are always in my thoughts and prayers. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thanks Tricia. I know you know how tough it is. I'm at the one month recheck point now. He needs to be good for awhile before I risk a relapse or pancreatitis episode plus I don't know what I will gain from the retest that will help Max. I'm not sure what I will do.

Brat. I was thinking how easy he is to give fluids. Well, he moved while I was watching the bag and he got wet as the needle came out. So he got less tonight. He still got his special treat and was begging for more.

Why so high? :cat: If he were like most he wouldn't need more tests. Mr. Unpredictable will get at last a +3.

I used to have that problem with Minka, too. I just restuck her unless we were almost done. Did we talk about using the EZIV harness? Sorry, I don't remember. It really helped me when Minka moved. If I have to keep giving Cinco fluids, I'll be using it as he kept moving last night and I had to restick him once.

Max, what are you doing up there? That is high for you. Come down from there, please. Gently.
