Giving another 0.1 tonight?
Yes, thank you. I was hopeful that the numbers dropping may mean that. In the event that he continued his past pattern of diving deep, I held back a tablespoon of his low carb food to feed with a higher carb at +1 or +2 if he does dive. Was that the correct thing to do? If he doesn't dive, will feed him the rest of the lo carb at +3.Yes....another .1 tonight
Let's see what tonight's cycle brings
it looks like he might be "breaking the bounce" this cycle...see how he's come down all day so far?
His +2 was 201 so I added 1 TBSP of Friskie's 8% carb. He normally gets around 4% carb with each meal. Will recheck at +3.I'd get a +1......if it's lower than the PS, I'd feed him the extra food and then get a +2 (unless he REALLY dives....then you might want to even give him a little food that's higher carb ....not "high carb", but something a little higher than his regular low carb food)
OK....you really didn't need to feed the 8% at +2
We expect them to be higher at +1 because they had just been fed an hour ago...then +2 is usually a good predictor of where the cat might be going later in the cycle
If the +2 is about the same as the PS, it's usually going to be a pretty normal cycle...a gradual decrease until nadir and then gradually up again
If the +2 is higher than the PS, it usually means they're bouncing again and those cycles you can usually take a break on poking/testing
If the +2 is lower than the PS, that's your "early warning" that they might be going a lot lower that cycle and it's important to test more until you're sure
Of course ECID, and you're still gathering data on Shoes....and he has (in the past) done some pretty spectacular dives early.
I gave 0.1 again this am, 3/17/17. Not sure if he has cleared the bounce but it looks like it to me. Hopefully, you will weigh in if he has.
(just curious....the numbers in your subject line don't match the numbers on your spreadsheet. It's important to keep those numbers updated. Usually we'll start with the AMPS and just keep adding numbers the rest of the day. If you run out of space on the subject line, you can go back and delete all the AMPS numbers and just start with the PMPS ones)
