It would be worth doing similar tests during the PM cycle hours at some stage, Cathie. There can be a marked difference in BG levels between day and night time. Saoirse definitely runs lower at night.

Keep it up, Shaak!

I would only do this to the extent that you are already up. I wouldn't set an alarm and get up to do it as you have too much on your plate and need to rest. If she's green when you go to bed, awesome. It doesn't matter if she drops lower...she's not on insulin and hasn't been for some time. Make it easy on yourself.

that sounds good. I was thinking one night I would stay up late enough to do a PM +5,+6,+7 but no later.

I agree, hence the "at some stage" caveat in my previous post, Marje. :) Perhaps I should have better clarified that it's a non-urgent nice-to-have.

I actually don't think it's necessary at all...she doesn't need to collect data or fill in any more squares at night if it compromises her rest :)

When we do OTJ trials, if the kitty is green at AMBG and PMBG, we don't even test anymore during the cycle. I'm thinking we should consider her trial started on 3/10 with the first green PS.

Cathie...I think if you continue testing and feeding as you have been for 14 days starting yesterday and Shaak stays mostly under 100, we could officially call her in remission. You might want to put in her "units" column starting yesterday "OTJ Trial Day 1". Today would be "OTJ Trial Day 2" and so on. For the night, just continue to put "NS".

What do you think @Sue and Oliver (GA)?
