what would the symptoms be if a cat passed a stone or crystal?miss kitty was fine then all of a sudden was jumping in and out of cat box trying to pee then projectile puked across floor while trying to pee.she laid on floor and kept lifting back leg up like she was hurting so I looked and saw some blood tinged urine on her fur.the symptoms only lasted 10mins tops.scared me to death.at first I thought bladder infection but my mom said it sounded more like she passed a stone.

Yikes--scary! I do not have an answer but I sure hope she is ok -

@Cat girl -

How is Miss Kitty doing?

FWIW a friend of mine once passed a kidney stone. He told me that it hurt like no tomorrow when the passage was in progress but he was grand thereafter.

Thanks for asking after my little ones. We've been through a very rough time. Lúnasa has GI issues at the moment but that's peanuts to what Saoirse has been through. Three weeks ago she had a haemorrhage in her right eye. She developed secondary glaucoma and had to have surgery a few days later to remove her eye. She had a lot of setbacks after the operation and had to be hospitalized for rehydration twice last week. She's improving now, thank God. (I nearly lost her last week.)
