I read about this stuff to help transition cats from dry to wet food. After Whitey has his bought with DKA he's been on dry food for a couple of weeks because its all he would eat. I've been trying to get him back on wet for days and he turns his nose up. I got the Fortiflora today and sprinkled it on the wet food and he immediately devoured the entire bowl. There are over a thousand reviews on Amazon but I thought surly it can't be that easy but it worked instantly. One of our other cats has also been ignoring the wet food since the dry was in the house but she also is gobling up the wet again. Hopefully it keeps working this well for future feedings but figured I would give an endorsement for anyone having a tough time transitioning to wet food.

Yeah that stuff is magic!!! The reason it works so well is that it's a lot like the same stuff they "spray" onto kibble to make it so irresistible to cats....just in powder form

ah ha, that makes sense. According to ingredients it's brewer's yeast, probiotics and animal digestives (whatever that is)

remember cats will be cats:cat:.... mine loved it day 1--day 2 not so much LOL--brats!!
I found skipping a day or 2 helps keep it in the "why haven't you ever given us this before" category

Crumbling up freeze-dried protein treats and sprinkling a little over the wet food can make it more tempting, too.
