Fran, you ARE supposed to do a new condo each day. You don't
have to post every day - some of us just don't have time - but when you do post, a fresh condo each day that you post, with a link to the previous one, helps keep things a little easier to follow.
Jill's question was because you used the ? icon but there was no question in the body of your post. Just asking for dosing guidance and not telling us more specifically what your concerns are is a little vague. Don't worry, you'll get the hang of this!
Unfortunately, bouncing is part of the FD process. Kitties will bounce until they don't. I'm not make light of it, I'm just saying that's how it works. I know it's frustrating and confusing and worrisome, but it's normal.
FD is not studied heavily in Vet School - I take my kitties to the second highest rated Vet School in the country, and I was told by a senior student that they studied diabetes - in both cats and dogs - for exactly five hours!!!!

Most vets will tell you that a lot of their clients don't want to deal with the hassles of treating their cat for FD, so they choose euthanization.

Others simply take their cats to the vet for curves and don't worry about it

. We are unusual here, in that we pay close attention to what's going on with our cats and monitor and test and adjust accordingly. We have a lot of info on this site about it, but you're not going to find much more elsewhere. That's the sad truth.
Elliott had some nice numbers yesterday - which is probably why he's bouncing now. But those greens are what you want to see. As he gets into those numbers more often - and surfs like he did yesterday - his body will get used to them and stop panicking, so the bouncing should reduce and eventually even go away. This is a marathon, not a sprint. It's not going to happen quickly. Hang in there!
I don't know if that answered your questions. If not, reply and ask again, maybe with a little more specifics. You're doing fine.
