+4- 162 If there is still a possibility that he's going lower at +10 or +11 , I will get a +11 and see what is happening in tonight's cycle.

Thinking about Bubba barfing up his +9.75 snack this morning and he did it on the +10 of 1/31 (that was the morning he was racing around.) Both things are unusual for him. Could it be that he gets nauseas when his number falls to a real low? Just a thought.

Have a look on the hypo symptoms, if my memory serves me being sick can be one of the symptom of dropping low. Beans can get nausea when their BG drop, don't know if it is the same for cats????

I see he kept down the second plate served(not even barfing puts him of his fuds, he must be the president of the CPC). Did he eat the first serving quicker than usual??

I think he might have eaten it quicker but then again, he ALWAYS eats quickly. Someone recently described it well " a furry shop vac" LOL

Just checked the sticky it doesn't appear that it is a symptom of hypo in cats. Humans yes but cats no.

I do have hypoglycemia, I get shaky, sweaty, light headed. Can't eat fast enough. But never nauseous. Always carry the peanut butter to go and candy bar. Sometimes the bar is so squished its impossible to eat. My lunch box always goes with me, even to the post office.

My dad used to get nausea when he dropped low, that and shaky. guess it's a case of EBID;):)

He doesn't break out in a drenching sweat? My hubby never believed me. Thought it was all in my head and saying that just so I could eat . Many many years ago we were out one day and I told him I needed to get some lunch but he didn't want to stop because we were almost home. I broke out in a sweat and my hands were shaking really bad . I went racing into the house and I showed him the reading 52. Started eating the peanut butter. He started making me grilled cheese sandwich. Now he makes sure I have my lunch box with me and he stops immediately. Except now I do the driving so I can stop when I want to.

He would get a bit clammy, shaky and nausea, cant remember him breaking into a sweat.

Sorry Bobbie we have got of track.
No problem! I am right there with you on the hypoglycemia. My husband listens to me now too when I say, I NEED to eat! I have really tried to clean up my eating act because hypoglycemia is the precursor for Type II diabetes later. My mom and grandmom, both Type II diabetics , hypoglycemic first.

I was 20 when diagnosed. MD thought that's what is was but when they did the 5 hr gtt it came back diabetic. So followed the diet (exchange lists back then) no home meters back then. Don't you know 3 weeks later I was in hospital in crisis. MD said to just go back to doing what I was. Candy bar, milk, peanut butter when I needed to. Forget the test. Now my fasting when it's done comes back in the low 60's. But no symptoms.

Marshmallow puked when she was too low. I don't know why it's not on the sticky because it seems to happen for several kitties....
