I am beyond baffled. He just stuck after the last bounce. He doesn't even waiver in these numbers. Its like we are not giving him insulin. We are doing it together so that one holds him still to make sure it is going in. I took up 3 other Accucheks last night to make sure the meter hadn't wonked out. I tried insulin out of Deandra's old pen this morning to see if something happened to the insulin when we switched him to our house. Hers is 4 months old so it should still be viable.

He has plenty of energy, still cleans his plate and begs for more. Stools look to be forming up after starting the forti-flora (we did start that right when he stuck but I've never had that affect a diabetic). His pees don't look all that big, probably 5-6 times a day. He is just like Sly and aims high. Nailed 2 walls in my brand new house over a high sided tote for his LB

I am down to 2 strips for the ketone meter. I ordered more last night. He is such a wiggle worm that there is no guarantee we will get a test on the first try and I hate to not have them on hand in case he starts acting off so I prob won't test those again until the new ones get here.

I checked to +3 on multiple meters and all within a few points. Seems like we might have had insulin to pooped out. Very odd that is just completely stopped doing anything. Dang crappy timing to crap out.

Can you increase by 0.5u if nadirs are above 300?
Since 2.0U was putting him into the 50s on an AlphaTrak since his 3rd dose and his stopping in the 300s the way he did was really odd, I am hesitant to move more quickly.

Talked to the person the insulin came from. She said she'd just gotten it and started to use it in Oct. So it was "fresher" than Deandra's, punctured more recently and less uses off of the vial. Not sure what could have happened to it, even poor handling shouldn't have made it just die like that. We will see if the lower numbers continue or we bounce and stick again. Definitely not liking having a dose increase in there that might have been based off of pooped out insulin.
