Hi
I am getting ready to buy more strips for Trouble and I can't find any discounted strips for my accucheck aviva on ebay.... I have been wanting to get a backup meter for some time- and was thinking that if I did that until more strips showed up on ebay (or if they didn't if the new meter had strips that did).

I wasn't sure on the variance for different meters though- and thought I would ask here if it was ok to change back and forth if needed (for cheaper strips) or better to just stick with the one?

Thanks in advance for any insight- and Happy New Year

It's better to stick with one since there's already enough variance in the picture already without trying to figure out if Brand X is any different from Brand Y

That being said, most of us have a "backup" meter just in case our primary meter goes kaput, breaks or the batteries die at a bad time (like 3am in the morning while the cat is under 50)

That's what I figured! Thanks Chris :)
