Thanks Carla. Max is still drinking more than he should but he's eating okay.

Thanks for the prayers. My DM will be 95 on New Year's Day! I'm hoping she can feel a little better.
 
Max is looking good, its it possible he's just thirsty? Guess I don't really know much about why it would be concerning as long as he's eating and bg's are good. Then again after this experience I vow to say I know nothing about cats.

Lots of vines and prayers that DM has a wonderful Birthday and feels good.

He has kidney disease now so drinking more is likely a signal that it is getting worse. I'm trying to go 3 months between vet visits as they often result in a pancreatitis episode and lots of expense. I wish I knew nothing about cat diseases, lol. I hope you don't need to learn about any more.
 
I thought it was better for cats with kidney disease to drink more fluids. My vet told me to give Sheba extra fluids to drink and I put it in her food.

Any chance it's drier in your house now in winter (heating on?). Neko's drinking a bit more now too, though the pee clumps are smaller. I got b/w done before and after her SRT and basically no change in her numbers. And I agree, I know more than I ever wanted to about cat diseases. :arghh:

Numbers are looking good Max. :D I hope your DM feels up to a little celebration - 95 is worth a party.

Amen to not wishing to know anything of cat diseases! :(:((or human ones)

Max is looking good, at least his BG; sending continuing vines for him and your mom though. Hoping your mom has a wonderful 95th birthday, definitely a cause for celebration. :bighug::bighug:
