Yesterday was challenging as Mr. Doodles has taken a step backwards or is having a blip of IBD issues in regards to eating his wet food:arghh::arghh:. All your appy vines are appreciated! Christmas Eve Appy Issues :(

We gave him the NV Venison for his before bed snack then he decided it was playtime...getting his mousies and chasing his sister around. Doodles is never active in the evening...never. This morning he ate 1.5oz of FF Beef but it took a painful 20 minutes and too much fortiflora :( I'll be trying the Venison for the rest of his meals today and stay with that for a while. The wet food challenge is nothing new to us but thought we were completely over it. I'm confident we'll get him back to eating it like a champ soon. In the meantime I have to supplement his calories with a little YAZC.

With his great BW last month and his numbers staying like this I'm confident there is nothing medical going on other than an upset tummy caused by the IBD. Hoping the Prilosec (he does have ulcers) & pumpkin will turn him around.
 
FD seemed to help Max with appy issues due to chronic pancreatitis but it sometimes rears its ugly head. Appy vines headed your way. Safe surfing. Merry Christmas.
 
Got him to eat 1oz of the NV Venison so supplemented with 1 tbsp. YA....we'll keep trying for more and more wet (so discouraged)
 
Piling on more appy vines for your green boy. I wish you had the protein election we did. I just got my premix so elk is going into the rotation.

Thanks Wendy and wish we did too. He's surfing nice and flat but keeping an eye on him. Have no idea what all of a sudden triggered it. Hope you have a nice Christmas and Boxing Day!
 
Merry Christmas! And sending more good appy vines! ....I just came home with some leftover prime rib and all the cats are convinced that that's what they should be having for dinner.
 
Doodles barely at 1 oz FF beef and about 10 YA kibble at dinner. I may have screwed him up by feeding @ +7.5 (he never eats after +5). Made the decision to shoot 1.25 and will test/ feed all night if needed and have all the tools. He's acting fine besides not pooping today. Should I reduce his does to 1 unit tomorrow or just keep watching /feeding etc. He did eat the wet best at the 59 today @ + 7.5 . (I was nervous so fed him). So far today he's eaten 4.7 oz wet and 1.5 tbsp. of YA (very high in calorie...about 50 cal per tbsp.)

Sorry for the ramble.

If you're still having trouble getting him to eat tomorrow, it might be a good idea to reduce his dose until he start feeling better and eating good. Sending prayers.

I hope you had a good Christmas.
