Noticed the fleas were worse yesterday, so gave him a Capstar capsule, seeing lots of dead fleas now. Might have stressed him out, it would me! He is not an outside cat, but he does go out on a screened in lanai. I treat him with Advantage II, but here in warm Florida, the fleas just never end! Guess it's the price we pay for having 80 degree weather in December. :p

Thanks Carla, the capsule definitely killed a bunch and hopefully the Advantage II will take care of the larvae and eggs, but seems there is always some. The person living here before me had a dog, I think some came from that and there is carpet on the lanai. I am going to rip it up and replace with tiles some day soon. Rupert seems to be feeling better and started out a little lower than he has for awhile, so I am hopeful he will get some nice blues at nadir. I see Furball is getting great numbers, so happy he is off the juice! Well done!

Ugh! I hate fleas! I just had to treat everyone here with Advantage, and change out the sticky paper in the flea traps. Hope you're able to get a handle on the fleas and Rupert's BG!

I think the flea problems are worse than normal due to higher temps than normal. Whatever the cause, they are pesky suckers!
How well does the flea traps work? I tried a homemade one, but the traps are easier and less mess.

Good to see Colin is back to his more normal numbers! Stupid kibble. Rupert is up today, which surprised me, maybe a bounce or NDW? I also put Advantage II on him, might influence BG's some. Oh well, one good day is better than none!
