On the way to bed last night, there was something "unidentifiable" on the carpet behind my easy chair. First I thought it was vomit, but too dark. Too flat to be poo. Then I realized it was pork jerky.
I'd been snacking on it watching tv, and sealed the bag back up and put it on the table. Scolded Hustler once to stay away from it and then I guess I fell asleep for a while:oops:
They carried the 1lb bag off the table behind my chair where they proceeded to destroy the bag and spread the jerky pieces all over. I immediately checked the bag for onion/garlic ingredients. No, we're good there....but second ingredient was SUGAR, third ingredient was SUGAR, and 5th ingredient was.....





WAIT FOR IT......







BROWN SUGAR.:banghead::banghead::banghead:

So a little pukey pile to clean up this morning and at least we have an explanation for this ridiculously high amps. How about some blue today, Pimp? At this point I might do a dance over yellow!

Wishing all kitties a safe blue surf today and all beans a nice uneventful Tuesday!

Seems like Hustler lived up to his name and hustled him self some jerky, and it's only fair he should share it with his bro.

Seriously though cats are so devious when it comes to food, I'm seriously considering getting a child lock for the Kitty/drooler food cupboard, I've heard noises in the kitchen and gone in to find him having a go at the cupboard door, he hasn't got in yet.... but he is one persistent cat especially when there might be a snack in it for him.

Hope they come of down their sugar high soon ;)
 
They are so bad sometimes but it could be worse and surely Pimp will get that out of his system soon. Doodles sister Moo is the wild child who can open drawers and cabinets to steel treats. I have rubber bands holding them shut! She use to steel the loaf of bread off the counter too. Luckily Doodles was never a people food eater.
 
Now it's a yellow surf.o_O Most of the time when he does this at night, I see blue in the morning. Paws crossed!
