Goof is officially out of remission. Just read Critter Mom's post and saw that she's dealing with the same thing, it hurts my heart and scares me so much.
Goofs numbers have been as follows:
12/2-148
Didn't test again until
12/5 -266, 2 hours later 309, I didn't give insulin as I thought it was just a fluke, but at 3:00 pm he was 384!
I gave him 1u.
12/6 -am 382, gave 1u. Pm, 155, no shot.
12/7- am 229, 1u. Pm, 237, 1u.
12/8 am 243, 1u.
I talked to our vet, he said that because Goof is eating, drinking, pottying, and playing normally, not to freak out about it, but that we should do some blood work and rule out some kind of infection. I know he's not getting into high carb food as I don't have any in the house. He only gets canned Friskies T&G. It just breaks my heart. Sigh.
