I miss her! Has anyone heard from her?
Ditto, Ditto!!!Oh no Robin, a belated Birthday Wish may be in order.
Did we forget? Did we get mixed up? Could it be, b/c we are just getting older?
Hell no I say, we were just waiting for you to get better, so we all can celebrate together.
Ok...never mind that it just slipped our mine, not to mention you need some healing vines,
Can you vision this? The beloved Prozinc group wishing you the best; all standing in line?
No, not just the beans but all our wonderful, little, furry kitties too sending you a wish
And if we all were a little closer, we would all get together, toasting and sharing our favorite dish.
So, not that it is over, no not what you think; I mean the Big Birthday day is here and gone,
We wish you the very best for many years to come, you are the best, we all say "right on!"
Thank you so much for all that you do here, helping all of us when we have questions and in need,
You are always there, very late at night, there taking the lead.
Happy Birthday Robin and Thank you!

That is horrible! I bet you felt terrible. Did you ever have vertigo again? I awoken one morning and the bed was spinning and I thought I would fall off the bed! Headache, nausea and I was extremely sound sensitive and eventually vomited. My MD put me on Ativan for the symptoms. Once I started seeing a chiropractor monthly, I haven't had an episode since except for very fleeting spin monsters, and I mean just seconds.Ok - this is kind of a long story. I woke up in early Monday morning about 30 years ago with vertigo although at the time, I never heard of it. Everything was spinning so bad that I couldn't even think straight. I thought that I was going crazy. I really had to work hard on figuring out where I was and who that person was in my bed (my husband) while laying on the floor and crawling to the bathroom. I couldn't stand it but had to wait for the next couple of hours until the doctors office opened up. I even had to get help to walk. The doctor told me that there is a chamber in the ear that is filled with fluid and it is lined cilia. Sometimes that cilia or hairlike will break off and bang against the wall, hence, really messing up your head. They gave me a diuretic to reduce the fluid and said that it may take a week to get better and to come back in five days. So five days later, I was doing better but still was dizzy. I couldn't find anyone to drive me to the doctor so I drove myself. I was fine and could see straight as long as I had one hand over one eye pressing down on it. I made it to the doctor ok but when I was coming home and about 1/4 mile from my house, our neighbor, a farmer, pigs got out on the road and I didn't see two little ones that ran out in front of me and I hit them. It was awful and I felt so bad. The farmer was out there and was very apologetic. In the meantime, I had to get out of my car to see if I could help out the pigs and ended up just standing outside of my car desperately hanging on so I wouldn't look dizzy or what he may have thought, drunk. I never forget that illness.
Hi, all ... sorry to be MIA. Dealing with some pretty extreme vertigo (dizziness/ loss of balance) lately. Can go for long periods of time with no problem, then - WHAM! - I wake up one morning & find that if I try to move, I'm sick as a dog. Am not quite back to normal (whatever that is), but at least can read a little today without triggering yet another bout of nausea. Have always had problems with my left inner ear, which is what triggers this. (Docs have never been able to resolve the problem.) @Sue and Oliver (GA) - That's why you'll never hear that I'm cruising the high seas like you and your DH just did!
I was always the kid in the car who was holding the Quaker oatmeal box filled with sawdust in her lap. No field trips on the school bus in childhood; even now, can get horribly carsick when someone else drives. But when it happens at home & continues for days ... ugh, I just HATE it. Anyway, just so you know ... I'm not dead yet.
(But must say: This has been one h*lluva way to ring in my 60th year - which was 2 days back).
Thank you, my friends, for missing me. I miss all of you, too!!! (Sorry if I worried anybody.) As CA's former gov once said in a film, "I'll be back!"
Soon, I hope.to all ...
Now that just says it all! You feel better too Paula! How weird that you both are experiencing this.So far the teacup ride

We are lucky to have BJM on our team!BJM - Where do you get all this knowledge??? I am constantly amazed!
Hope you feel better soon Paula! It sounds like a really bad thing to have, hang in there!Must be a 60's thing this week (nearly 60 for me). Been dealing with same thing last 10 days. And severe sciatica on top of it. Ever try sleeping while standing??? Doc did tell me my vertigo was probably a virus that's going around. On antivert and prednisone pack. So far the teacup ride at full speed spin is starting slow up some.
Get well soon.
Right on is right Cindi! Great job with the poem!Oh no Robin, a belated Birthday Wish may be in order.
