Well..I'm not at all happy with these numbers, but I AM happy that China seems to have kicked this awful bug of hers!! Still has 2 more days of AB's, but she's been eating normally today (although I'm trying to cut down a little on her food so she continues to lose some of her excess, uh...."fluffiness").

She even came up and snuggled with me a little while this morning!! I've missed my kitty snuggles!!

Had to go all the way up to Jefferson City to get more Baytril for Cheaser and Cleocatra though...Saw them both this morning for breakfast but haven't seen Cheaser all day since then (going to have to go searching soon)....Cleo is still eating fine, but still sneezing a lot so I figured it's time to put them both on the Baytril and hope we can get this stupid germ knocked out for good

Remind me next time I need to go to Jeff to do it earlier in the day though...had to drive home on an awful 2 lane road with curves, hills and no shoulder with the sun in my eyes the whole way...STUPID Daylight Savings Time!!!:mad::mad:

I'm looking for a good scale to keep track of China's weight so am looking at baby and pet scales but they're really expensive...especially considering I've spent over $300 on vet bills in the last 10 days. It has to be more accurate than a bathroom scale can weigh so I'm looking for suggestions!!

Congratulations go out to my Kansas City Royals for their World Series championship too!!! After 30 years, it was nice to see the boys in blue win!! The Mets had an awful series, so there's no telling what would have happened without the errors...of course the Royals never say die and don't quit until the last out either!

If you have a Wii with the Wii Fit game, there are scales on that. You can even track her weight over time on it, they have a separate pet tracking avatar and everything :-) If you don't have one, you could probably pick one up second-hand cheap seeing that they're not really popular anymore.

I just bought the Homeimage baby/pet scale $43.99 @ Amazon.
It looked like the one my vet has so I bought it. It works very good.
I can't seem to link this. If you go to Amazon and type in Homeimage baby/pet scale you will be able to see what it looks like. This was the cheapest price I have found. Sorry I'm not more computer savvy.
Glad China is better and Cheaser and Cleocatra are doing better.
Sending more healing vines and:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:.
btw Michael sends his best Meows & Purrs to China, Cheaser, and Cleocatra.
(He's busy right now sitting on his condo, looking out the window awaiting petts & scritches.)

Glad China is doing better... Come on, Cheaser and Cleo....your turn to get better.

Hi again, Chris,
This is the scale we use: http://www.amazon.com/My-Weigh-MBSC-55-Ultrababy-Scale/dp/B0007P4BNA?tag=felinediabetesfdmb-20

It is really great. I've had it since 2011. It weighs in lbs & oz. or kgs. It comes with the cradle and with a postal attachment. If you decide to buy it, you don't need to get the A/c adaptor. It works on batteries for a very long time. (Amazon also sells it with the A/c adaptor for about $15 more): http://www.amazon.com/My-Weigh-Ultrascale-MBSC-55-Digital/dp/B005004CEA/?tag=felinediabetesfdmb-20

When I ordered the scale without the adaptor, I ordered the adaptor separately. I have never used the adaptor!

Here is the scale I use. A bit pricey, but works great. I use it to weigh packages for mailing, too.

That is the same one that we have, and I liked it over the baby scales w/tray for the same reason. We use it for weighing packages and food all the time. I test it with a small barbell periodically, and it is always spot on.

For any scale, I highly recommend taking it to the vet with you the first time to compare.
