Good Morning, Everyone,

We all had a good night. Rusty slept peacefully in his spot in the middle of the bed with his head on his little green pillow. This morning it is dark, damp, chill, and now raining. Not a good day to continue my walking program. But I can walk in the house.

Wishing all a good day and sending special vines for Gracie, Harvey, Polly, and all kitties and beans in need.

Yo Kitties,
This is a big party week in L&LL. On Tuesday (27 Oct.) is the Full Hunters' Moon. I'll be hosting our party here in the barn, so the deer family can come without worry about hunters in the woods. AND THEN, HALLOWEEN, on Saturday!!! Halloween is the very best party of the year because the veil between our world and the world of the spirits is the thinnest. We will be able to see, hear, and talk to our beloved GAs. I am thinking of hosting the party at Camp Stu because it will be very atmospheric there, and we'll have a good view of the sky and the Bridge. All of our GAs loved Camp Stu and there will be lots of memories to exchange. Party planning for both parties tomorrow, on my radiators. Come early. We'll sip hot tuna toddies, munch on cimmamum cookies, and plan.

p.s. Emma suggests we have the Halloween party at the DUNES. I think that's a great idea! Emma will host and we will have the most wonderful time. We'll make the plans tomorrow at the planning party.

Nice amps Rusty. You off to the lagoon today? There are some kitties there that may bed some supervision. ;) Or at least some camaraderie. :cool:

Bummer on your weather. We are due for rains about 1 or 2 today, and then a week of wet. That time of year in the NW I guess. I am hoping to walk early today to avoid getting wet. I hope you can get out for a walk. Don the rain-gear and off you go. I hope too that you are recovering nicely, imagine that you are.

Rusty! DUDE! We are so IN! We really wants to help with the planning... It is a very special party week, and we wants to do our part. paw Prints Pizza say they will bring some mini cimmamum pizzas to the planning day. WOOT Radiators. Mannie always told us about them. I love hearing about Rusty sleeping on his little green pillow. I hope he slides down to the lagoon today. I'm glad you are getting better. Sorry it's raining and you have to walk in the house. Sending prayers.

Count me in for the planning party. We want to make the parties special.

I hope your recovery goes smoothly. Keep moving, but don't overdo it. When I fell off a ladder and fractured a vertebrae the ER doctor told me to move as much as I could as soon as I could stand it. Much better advice than anything my regular doctor said.

You're on, Emma! Great idea! We can ride the dune buggies, too. I'll work on a very special Halloween menu. But it certainly won't be the last party at the Dunes!!

Thanks for the tips, Ann. I totally agree: keep moving!! As long as I don't do lifting I'm allowed to do everything (within reason), with the exception of driving, which I can't do for 2 weeks. Lucky we live in the village and can walk to the markets.

The Lagoon was wild today without its Meister, glad you were watching from the shore at least. Good timing to have the surgery during the World Series. Hope the healing goes smoothly.

Yes, it must have been premonition, since I scheduled the surgery in August! Feeling good--better every day.
 
Yo Rusty! <cough cough> I guess I probably should stay home from the planning party <sneeze sneeze>...don't want to spread my cold around.. but I'll be there for the parties!! Takes more than a cold to keep a good party cat down!
 
Rusty's little green pillow is legendary, it conjures up such sweet images.

Glad to hear you're recovering well Ella. Just be careful with the slippery ground - we don't want a repeat of last year!

Me an Purrdy is on da way. He is bustin at the seams about Halloween cause he's neber seen da sand so he wants to be involved in ebery step of da way. I juz wanna come and pour drinks - da best party plans are made wif de aid of gum leaf likor! Be there soon - Vyktor
