Yesterday's "I got some sleep at night!" condo

YEAH!....No, it wasn't much, but I got to sleep a little after 1am instead of 4am, so I'll take it!!

Today's numbers are nice too...wish I could have grabbed a nap this afternoon, but it's Friday and that means DM gets her hair done and I do her shopping

Hoping for a nice safe cycle tonight ...but...this is China!!

So good to hear that our Princess Gracie is home and doing well! How scary for Marje! Sending vines for Harvey's test results too...your mama sure doesn't need any more drama in her life!

OK kitties!! It's Friday night and the BBQ will be full!! Come on down to the beach for a hot dog, hamburger or bratwurst!! We've got chicken too!! The Deputy LagoonMistress will be there to watch the kitties that go out for a paddle in the lagoon and she's hoping her other Deputy, Cinco will be there....and our own LagoonMeister Rusty too!

I was hoping that when I thought I'd seen China's eye watering and she sneezed several times earlier today that she just got something up her nose, but tonight the right eye is about half shut and the left is watering now...and she hardly ate anything for dinner

Wonder if we've got a kitty cold brewing?
 
Awww China you've got a BBQ to host now is not the time to get sick little one - sending vines that it's nothing serious.

Oh no. That doesn't sound good. I hope it's nothing serious. She may need to go t the vet. Be careful things like that can turn into a respiratory infection quickly. Sending prayers.
 
Well, now I know I have a sick kitty....both 3rd eyelids are up (right looks like her eye is almost closed) ....and more sneezes :(

Of course this has to happen when the vet is only open a half day on Saturday too

She doesn't seem to be running a temp at this point, but it's the first time I can remember China being sick in her whole life...she's been a very healthy kitty...well, except for the diabetes

Sending you and her big vines- and hoping it is something transitory, and that you can get some rest tonight:)
 
Why do they always manage to time these things for the weekend???? Poor China, and poor Chris. You must be worried sick.

Do you have any l-lysine to give her? Maybe add some to the civie's fuds too. And some time in a bathroom with a steamy shower might help loosen things up.

No, sure don't but guess I'll see if I can find some..sure don't want whatever this is making the rounds if I can help it. All my cats have been extraordinarily healthy their entire lives so I don't keep a bunch of stuff laying around.

This really is the first time I can ever remember China being "sick"...and the civvies have never needed to go to the vet except for routine vaccinations and S/N

Any recommendations on the l-lysine?
 
Doggone it, Chris. So sorry China's proving there's always a first time. Even for a kitty cold. Poor kitty. Poor bean. Hunks of vines and then some winding their way from here to there.

So sorry to hear China is not well! Sending a plane load of go.away.cold vines.
Doesn't it always happen at the weekend when the vet is closed. I hope you manage to get in before he closes.
